Serving Our Community. Serving the World.
At IMC we work through multiple Outreach programs to help and serve our community. We also partner with organizations to bring hope to people across the globe.
Outreach Programs
Missions
IMC is committed to reaching the lost and needy for Christ. We have many outreaches to our community, including Nursing Home Ministry, Jail Ministry, visitation, Food Pantry and Vacation Bible School, as well as supporting the From The Abundance Of The Hart Food Bank program. Immanuel Ministry Church is very mission minded. We tithe and give offerings of our income into missions at home and abroad to spread the gospel of Christ around the world.
Nursing Home Ministry
Pastor Trent and the IMC Singers minister at Signature Health Care Horse Cave at 10:00 AM each Wednesday.
From the Abundance of the Hart Food Bank
Feeding the Hungry In connection with Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland, we direct the From the Abundance of the Hart Food Bank which distributes USDA food to qualifying families in Hart County each month on the third Friday from 10:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. or whenever the food has all been distributed . In a separate program through the state of Kentucky, we also distribute food to qualifying Hart County senior citizens who are 60 and over. This food is available on the same day as the above program, both of which are conducted at the back of the Munfordville Baptist Church. Qualification guidelines may be obtained by calling the Church at (270)786-4339.
Hart County Repair Affair
Because we care! The Hart County Repair Affair is an all volunteer, one day community event that provides low income, disabled and elderly homeowners with free home repairs. The repairs can be as simple as fixing a leaky faucet or a broken light switch, or as complicated as putting on a whole new roof.
